The Sixteenth Cultural and Sports Olympiad for female university students in the country, hosted by Isfahan University of Technology, commenced on August 5, 2024, with the participation of over 100 universities and approximately 3000 students, coaches, supervisors, and executive personnel.

In this event, Sadjad University women's table tennis team, which included Ms. Negin Vafaei Pour, a student in Sports Sciences, as one of its members, demonstrated remarkable performance during three intense days of competition. By triumphing over top competitors across the nation, the team secured fifth place in the tournament and was invited to the national student team for the selection of the Asian Games.

Moreover, Sadjad University men's karate team, led by Mr. Mohammad Javad Akbari, a student in Sports Sciences, achieved third place and won a bronze medal during two days of fierce competition against elite national rivals.

It is worth noting that these students earned their participation in this Olympiad by achieving gold medals in the qualifying competitions of universities and higher education institutions in Region 9 of the country, held in the winter of 2023.
